Urges Unity and Peaceful Coexistence
The Ogun Central Senatorial aspirant, Hon. Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In her Sallah message, Hon. Talabi congratulated Muslims for their steadfast devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual discipline throughout the fasting period. She encouraged them to sustain the virtues of patience, humility, charity, and obedience to God beyond the Ramadan season.
She described Eid-el-Fitr as not only a period of celebration but also a moment for deep reflection and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence. According to her, the lessons of Ramadan should inspire Nigerians to embrace unity, tolerance, and mutual respect across religious and ethnic lines.
Hon. Talabi, who has declared her intention to contest for the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat, emphasized the need for collective responsibility in building a peaceful and progressive society. She urged citizens to reject division and work together for national development.
She further called on Nigerians to continue praying for the country’s peace, stability, and growth, stressing that unity remains the foundation for sustainable development.
The senatorial hopeful concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous Eid celebration, urging them to continue spreading love, compassion, and harmony within their communities.
