Remi Tinubu Launches Projects, Distributes Palliatives in Anambra
AWKA — Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has taken the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) to Anambra State, inaugurating development projects and distributing palliatives to residents.
The initiatives formed part of activities aimed at supporting vulnerable Nigerians and improving access to basic amenities across communities.
During her visit to the state, Mrs Tinubu commissioned projects and presented relief materials to beneficiaries under various programmes of the Renewed Hope Initiative.
The First Lady also reiterated the commitment of the Federal Government to improving the welfare of Nigerians through targeted interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, social investment and economic empowerment.
The initiative has continued to provide support to women, youths, children, farmers and vulnerable households across the country.
In Anambra, beneficiaries received palliatives as part of efforts to cushion the effects of economic hardship and support families facing financial difficulties.
The projects inaugurated during the visit are expected to improve living conditions and strengthen community development.
Mrs Tinubu urged beneficiaries to make effective use of the opportunities and interventions provided through the initiative.
She also called for continued collaboration between the Federal Government, state governments and communities to ensure that development programmes reach those who need them most.
The Anambra visit is part of the Renewed Hope Initiative’s wider intervention programme across the country, with the First Lady using the platform to support vulnerable groups and promote inclusive development.
The initiative has remained one of the major channels through which the First Lady’s office implements humanitarian and social intervention programmes under the Tinubu administration.
