Court Jails Fake Spiritualist for Sextortion in Abuja
ABUJA — A court in the Federal Capital Territory has sentenced a fake spiritualist to jail after he was convicted of sextortion in Abuja.
The convict was prosecuted following allegations that he used spiritual claims to manipulate and threaten his victim into complying with his demands.
The case was brought before the court after investigations into the alleged sextortion activities.
During the proceedings, the prosecution presented evidence linking the convict to the offence and urged the court to impose the appropriate punishment.
The court, after considering the evidence before it, found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to imprisonment.
