2023 : APC Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi Owode Fed. Constituency Women Leaders reiterates Support for Olumide Osoba
The All Progressives Congress, APC Women leaders in the Ogun Central Senatorial district have reiterated their unalloyed support and loyalty towards the re-election bid of the current member representing Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives in the forthcoming general elections.
The APC women folks led by the Ogun Central Senatorial District Women Leader, Mrs Abisola Aliu at an interactive session with the Federal lawmaker expressed their readiness towards ensuring that that he achieve success at the poll.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Mrs Abisola Aliu Ugwu noted that they are impressed with his uncommon leadership style across the three local government areas that makes up the federal constituency anchored on human capital development and good governance, stressing that Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba has discharged his responsibilities diligently and satisfactorily in spite of the lean resources and numerous challenges confronting the country, bordering on economy, security and health.
She said: “Honourable, our coming out today is to show that women in Ogun Central Senatorial district of Ogun state particularly in Odeda, Obafemi Owode and Abeokuta North Local government areas is for you and also tell you that we are solidly behind you. What gives us joy is the way you have interfacing with us and how you have been able to facilitate more developmental projects to our areas.
Corroborating the Senatorial Women Leader, Women leaders in Abeokuta North, Mrs Dayo Danni, her Odeda and Obafemi Owode local government counterparts Lawal Muinat and Dasaolu Kabirat said as the party goes into campaign proper, there is need to carry women along in the scheme of things.
They added that the group has been working tirelessly in support of Rt.Hon. Olumide Osoba since his first sojourn to the green chamber and will not relent in doing so, pointing out that they treasure the developmental and human capital project he facilitated to their areas and would want the feat to be sustained for posterity.
Appreciating his guests, Rt.Hon. Olumide Osoba encouraged them to go all out and work towards the victory of APC candidates at all elective positions as it is the only way the dividends of Democracy can reach the nooks and crannies of the country.
While stressing the importance of unity of purpose among party faithful, he charged them to go back to basis and win their various poling booths for APC across all elective positions in the forthcoming general elections.
