Kwara 2027: APC Candidates Begin Statewide Thank-You Tour After Primary Elections
Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have commenced a statewide ‘thank-you’ tour to express appreciation to party members, delegates and supporters following their victories in the party’s primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The tour, which is expected to cover all parts of the state, is aimed at appreciating party faithful for their confidence and support during the primaries while promoting unity among APC members. The candidates said the exercise would also provide an opportunity to engage directly with grassroots supporters and strengthen the party’s structure ahead of the elections.
Speaking during the tour, the APC candidates called on party members to put the primary election behind them and work together to ensure the party records a decisive victory in the 2027 polls. They stressed the importance of reconciliation, inclusiveness and collective responsibility in sustaining the APC’s dominance in Kwara State.
The candidates also pledged to deliver people-oriented leadership if elected, promising to prioritise good governance, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, education, healthcare and economic growth. They assured residents that their campaigns would focus on addressing the needs and aspirations of the people across the state.
Party leaders and supporters who attended the events expressed confidence in the APC’s chances in the 2027 elections, urging members to remain united and committed as the campaign season gathers momentum.
