I’ll Prioritize Infrastructure, Social Services, Economic Growth – Senator Adeola

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on Wednesday reiterated his commitment to prioritizing infrastructural development, social services, and economic growth if elected as governor.
Adeola made the remarks during his ongoing consultative meetings with party stakeholders and organized groups across the state.
In the meeting with leaders and stakeholders of the APC from Sagamu and Ikenne local governments, Yayi expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support for him and the incumbent governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He pledged to ensure equity and fairness among party faithfuls, stressing that his administration would be anchored on inclusiveness and transparency.
In his words, “I want to assure the good people of our dear state that under our leadership, Ogun will experience unprecedented infrastructural development, improved social services, and robust economic growth”.
He said, “My vision is to build on the gains of the moment and make Ogun State a model of progress and prosperity, driven by effective governance and people-centered policies. We will fully explore the Oil prospects at Tongeji Island and ensure Ogun becomes oil producing while the Olokola deep seaport will be fully birthed under our watch. These two projects alongside the strategic location of the Gateway Airport are potentials that will make Ogun State leap to the next levels of growth and development”.
During the session, a former Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Daisi Akintan from Sagamu commended YAYI for his transformative leadership style and impressive track record of performance.
He urged YAYI to continue fostering unity within the party and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Ogun State.
The meeting had notable stakeholders in attendance including Senator Lekan Mustapha, Dr. Adeleke Adedoyin, Hon. Funmi Efuwape, and Hon. Oresanya, among others, who collectively expressed their unalloyed support for YAYI’s candidacy and his vision for the state.
