Speaking at the closing ceremony of the commissioning programme, Wike said the series of completed infrastructure projects had demonstrated the Federal Government’s commitment to transforming the Federal Capital Territory through purposeful leadership and strategic investments.

According to the FCT Minister, the newly inaugurated projects—including roads, bridges, public facilities and other critical infrastructure—are visible evidence of the Tinubu administration’s determination to improve the quality of life for residents and accelerate development in Abuja.

Wike maintained that those who had consistently criticised the administration’s performance now have tangible projects to assess, insisting that the completed infrastructure speaks louder than political rhetoric.

He commended President Tinubu for providing the political will and support needed to execute major developmental projects within a short period, describing the President as a leader committed to delivering democratic dividends.

The minister also praised contractors, engineers and FCT officials for ensuring the timely completion of the projects, adding that the achievements reflect effective collaboration between the Federal Government and the FCT Administration.

The 31-day commissioning exercise featured the inauguration of numerous landmark projects spread across the Federal Capital Territory, including new road networks, transport infrastructure, healthcare facilities and other public amenities aimed at enhancing economic growth and urban development.

Wike assured residents that the FCT Administration would sustain the momentum by initiating more people-oriented projects designed to modernise Abuja and improve public service delivery.

The completion of the month-long commissioning programme marks another milestone in the Federal Government’s infrastructure drive as efforts continue to position Abuja as a world-class capital city.
