Ogun YII congratulates Tinubu, wants him to prioritize Youth, Education, Health Development
Canvasses Support for Ogun Governor, Dapo Abiodun, others


Members of one of the leading political support group under the aegis of Youth Inclusive Initiative, YII Ogun State Chapter have congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his election has opened a new chapter in the history of Nigeria.
Reacting to Asiwaju Tinubu’s Victory, the State Coordinator of the group, Akinpelu Abdullah commended the emergence of Tinubu as the president-elect noting that Tinubu’s election had demonstrated to the whole world that religion and tribe would no longer play a role in the Nigerian politics.
“We pray to God to guide and help you in bringing back renewed hope and prosperity to all Nigerians,” he said.
Meanwhile, the group advised the president-elect to create a conducive economic environment that will attract foreign investors.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Akinpelu encouraged Asiwaju Tinubu to prioritize youth development, restore Nigerians confidence in the Nation’s security architecture and as well give much impetus to both the Education, Agriculture and Health sector to put a permanent stop to brain drain the sectors.
While advising the president-elect to be magnanimous in victory by carrying everybody along regardless of their political affiliations so that a strong and united Nigeria could be built.
March 18th Governorship and House of Assembly Poll
Also the group canvassed support for the re-election bid of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, his Deputy Noimot Salako-Oyedele and House of Assembly Candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the March 18th governorship and House of Assembly Elections.
While endorsing the governor for second term, Akinpelu Abdullah urged the people to return governor Dapo Abiodun to the Government House in the March 18th governorship election.
“Governor Abiodun has performed tremendously well in Ogun State and it is good we re-elect him. He has done a lot of work and every Ogun man is proud of his landmark,” he said.
