Pressures are on the Member, House of Representatives, Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, Iwajowa Federal constituency, Hon Shima Peller to contest for governor in 2023.
Peller, as fondly called had sometimes in January a day after Akin Alade celebrated new year party in Ogbmosho announced his interest to contest for the next senator in Oyo North Senatorial district.
Peller’s plan is to replace Fatai Buhari who is serving his second term as senator from the district.
However, findings revealed that pressure are now on Peller to contest for a more higher position than senator.
It was gathered that this is unconnected to his leadership quality and impact on the people of the state.
Many youth groups numbering about 10 have expressed their readiness to support Peller’s gubernatorial ambition.
The youth groups cited Peller’s outspoken and brilliant quality to the reason for drumming support behind.
It was learnt that almost every week, the youth in their hundreds always stormed the young House of Rep member in his home at Iseyin.
Further findings revealed that the desire to make Peller next governor was because the youth in the state don’t want anybody above 50 to rule them again.
