Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi on the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) was declared winner and sworn in as Ogun State House of Assembly member representing the good people of Yewa South State Constituency, where she was sworn into office on the 10th of June 2019. 365 days in office has then come and gone, how time flies

Among other things she asked for was your prayer and supports as there were so many things to be done. Looking back to a great year passed, she have been able to contribute immensely to the development of her constituency despite the fact that constituency allowance was not forth coming.

Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi urging the good people of her constituency to exercise patience. To her “Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting” she is therefore appealing to the good people of her constituency to keep on with their usual supports and prayers for God’s guidance towards a good representation as promised during her campaign, which all will be met in due course.

As a vibrant legislator, she has presented and lends her voice to a number of Bills and Motions in the last 365 days at the Ogun State House of Assembly which has greatly had impacts on the good people of her constituency. These Includes:

BILLS
A Bill for Gender balance and women’s representation in Legislatives Houses Bill, 2020. in alignment with 35% affirmative — first reading. She strongly used her office to sponsor the bill. This will help to realize the principle of equality and non-discrimination in my constituency and Ogun State. She so believe the bill would prohibit discrimination against women in all forms and the denial or limitation of any privilege, respect, advantage or benefit accruable to any woman on the basis of her sex.

Bill on People with Disability Law of Ogun State, 2020 – H.B. NO. 031/OG/2020 – A bill for a law to eliminate all forms of discrimination against persons with disabilities, equalize their opportunities in all aspect of life in the society and other matters incidental to – second reading.

Submission of a petition from a constituent who property was illegally encroached, a nd stationing of thugs with dangerous weapons and malicious damage on the said property,

COVID-19 PACKAGES RELIEF
Cash Donation to the vulnerable of her constituency during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Food relief items were distributed across her constituency.
Hand Sanitizers were also distributed during
COVID-19 pandemic.

She also facilitates the Repairs and Maintenance of delapitated Ogun State General Hospital Ilaro.

Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi has also seen to the socioeconomic development in her constituency by providing Electronics and Electrical Gadgets to aid the suffering of her constituents at the National Identity registration centre In her constituency. These items includes A Giant LaserJet printer, Keyboards, Mouse, Engergy saving bulbs, likewise cash donation to gurl the generator for effective running of the process.

Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi is unmindful of the fact that she has not been able to meet up the desired expectation of every members of her constituency at this point in time because she believes for whom much is given much is expected. She has pledge her loyalty more than ever to the good people of Yewa South State Constituency even as another year begin. She urges everyone constituents to remain steadfast and not to compromise, that dividend of democracy will surely gets to their doorsteps.

Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi reinstated that physical project will commence sooner than expected for the development of her constituency. Appreciating the criticisms and love shown for the past one year, and believes for a better person both are needed.
