Ace fuji musician, Alhaji Alabi Pasuma and topmost hip hop artist, Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice have confirmed their interest to perform at the 2019 Ajilete Carnival Concept.
The two artists, according to a statement by the Secretary of the organising committee of the epoch making event, Otunba Akin Alade, along side other artists, would thrill audience to electrifying performances.
 
 
The carnival is an annual event, organised by the indigenes of Ogbomoso in Oyo State to showcase and promote the rich cultural heritage of Ogbomosoland.
According to Alade, the committee are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the event record a huge success.
 
 
He disclosed that over 200 security personnel, comprising the army, police, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the local vigilance group had been contacted to ensure the safety of lives and property during the event.
 
 
Alade added that the combined security forces were contacted to maintain law and order throughout the carnival.
 
 
He noted that the carnival is an homecoming for 9ice who is an indigene of Ogbomoso, adding that the fans of Pasuma and 9ice should expect nothing but maximum fun from the two artists.
 
 
Alade added that over 127 traditional and local artists have registered to thrill the audience with colourful performances.
