Oyo APC Governorship Candidate Sharafa Ali Appoints Aderibigbe as Campaign DG
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Oyo State, Sharafa Ali, has appointed seasoned politician and party strategist Aderibigbe as the Director-General of his campaign organisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The appointment is part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its campaign structure and mobilise support across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State. According to the campaign organisation, Aderibigbe’s wealth of political experience, leadership capacity and grassroots appeal make him well-suited to coordinate the party’s electioneering activities.
Sharafa Ali expressed confidence that the new campaign Director-General would provide the strategic leadership needed to deliver victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election. He said the campaign would focus on issue-based engagement, inclusive governance, grassroots mobilisation and presenting practical solutions to the challenges facing Oyo State.
In his acceptance remarks, Aderibigbe thanked the APC governorship candidate for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work with party leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, women and supporters to build a formidable campaign structure capable of securing victory at the polls.
He urged members of the APC in Oyo State to remain united and committed to the party’s vision, stressing that collective efforts and internal cohesion would be crucial to reclaiming the state in the 2027 elections.
