Ogun 2023 : LADO/AKINLADE Mandate recieves boosts as former Deputy Speaker OGHA “Tola Banjo” rallies support in Ijebu East


The ongoing political mobilization strategies targeted at bolstering the support base for Ogun PDP gubernatorial candidacy of Hon Ladi Adebutu and his running mate, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade ahead of the 2023 general elections continues to receive major boost as a former Deputy Speaker Ogun state House of Assembly and Frontline politician, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo met with stakeholders in Ijebu East Local Government area of the State.
Addressing stakeholders, Hon. Banjo expressed absolute confidence in the competency of Hon Ladi Adebutu to steer the ship of the gateway state to greater heights.

While clearing some misconceptions surrounding the decision of some loyalists of Senator Ibikunle Amosun and other APC members to dump the rulling party and joined forces with Hon Ladi of PDP, he said the movement does not have anything to do with self services but the burning desire to rescue the good people of Ogun state and ensure that the state is not being hijacked by Lagos politicians.

“I want to encouraged you all to unite against external forces from Lagos trying to hijack the state and inflicts more suffering on the people and more importantly, with their toga of bad governance instituted by the current administration which has put the gateway state on the back trend of socio-economic development, it is time to take decisive actions and the way we can achieve that is work together and ensure LADO/AKINLADE mandate becomes a reality in 2023” he said.


Leaders of each wards and various groups promised to further disseminate the information across the nooks and crannies of their respective localities and work towards ensuring that Hon. Ladi Adebutu emerged governor in 2023.

Rt.Hon. Tola Banjo was accompanied by Barr. Ogunfowoke and Hon Onapelumi, a former Leader of the house, Ijebu East Local government area.
