OGIC Donates Land for Proposed Worship Centre
The Chief Executive Officer of Olageospatial Global Investment Company (OGIC), Mr. Olajide Fashina has donated a plot of land to the founder of TAOSAF Foundation, Sheikh Taoheed Al-Iyamoye.
Fashina while presenting the Title documents of the house to the renowned Islamic Cleric during at a groundbreaking ceremony said the land was donated for the purpose of building a central mosque at the City of David Estate, located in Obada area of Ogun State.
According Fashina, the City of David Estate is a unique Estate with state-of-the-art facilities that deserves a befitting worship centres for both Muslim and Christian inhabitants.
Fashina insisted that the City of David Estate is an affordable world class Estate designed for both low and high income earners in Ogun State.
The Real Estate Manager said, “We decided to appoint the Sheik as official Imam for the Estate and the land given to their foundation was to build the only Mosque in the Estate.”
“The clergy man is a well-educated and versatile servant of God whose congregation is growing on a daily basis as result of his good and educative teachings,” Fashina added.
In his response, Sheikh Taoheed, described Fashina as an upright individual who always put the needs of the people first in whatever he does.
The cleric added that the Real Estate Manager “is a true lover of the less privileged, whose aim is to encourage the people of his community to own their own homes.”
He assured the management team of OGIC, led by the CEO that he would use his good office to support their vision.
