Ramadan : Hon Adijat Adeleye harps on prayers for the Nation as Muslims commence Ramadan fast


The special adviser to Ogun state governor on Women Affairs and Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency House of Representatives Aspirant, Hon. Adijat Motunrayo Adeleye-Oladapo felicitates with Muslims Ummah in Ogun state and the Nation at large on the commencement of the year 2022 Ramadan fast.
The two term former member Ogun state House of Assembly, while congratulating faithful, admonished them to use the period to reflect on the current situation of the country and pray without ceasing for divine intervention from Allah.
Hon Adijat added that Ramadan offers an opportunity to draw closer to Allah and deepen relationship with him, he therefore called on Muslims to use the period to pray for peace to reign in all the dark spots in the country and particularly for the restoration of the nation’s long lost glory.

“I encouraged Muslim faithful to use the Ramadan fasting period to pray for Nigeria, so that the country can once again enjoy peace, as only in an atmosphere of peaceful co-existence can the nation witness sustainable growth and massive development.
On tackling the myriad of challenges facing the country, particularly insecurity, she emphasized the need for Nigerians to seek intervention from all spheres and ensure that they do all things possible to restore peace and bring back the humanity Nigeria is known for.
She called on all to open their minds to the serenity and lessons associated with the Holy Month and let it be the guiding light to all they do everyday of their lives.
“I encouraged my Muslim brothers and sisters across the country to use the opportunity of the Holy Month of Ramadan to pray and seek the face of Allah for peace, progress and rapid development of our dear Nation”.
” It’s easy to get discouraged and feel let down when things are rough, as a nation we disappointments, bad days but if we are firm in faith and trust the Almighty fully, He will find a way out for us and we wouldn’t even remember whatever pain we had to endure” She said.
