JAMB Releases Results of Over 1.8 Million 2026 UTME Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of more than 1.8 million candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) nationwide.
The examination body disclosed that candidates who sat for the nationwide entrance examination into tertiary institutions can now access their results through its official channels. The UTME remains a key requirement for admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria.
JAMB stated that the release of the results followed the successful processing and marking of scripts from Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide, noting its commitment to transparency and credibility in the examination process.
The board had earlier indicated that results would be released in batches, beginning with candidates who sat for the examination on the first day, with others made available subsequently after due processing.
Candidates are advised to check their results via the official SMS service or online platforms provided by JAMB. The board also warned against any attempt to falsify or manipulate results, stressing that offenders risk strict penalties.
JAMB reiterated its commitment to upholding the integrity of the UTME and ensuring a fair and merit-based admission process for all candidates.
