Electoral Victory : Olumide Osoba appreciates constituents, promised more adequate, equatable, efficient representation in the 10th National Assembly


The winner of the Abeokuta North,Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency in the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly Elections in Ogun State, Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba has expressed gratitude to the people of his constituency for re-election him to further represent their interest on the floor of the green chamber in the coming 10th National Assembly.
The three times Federal lawmaker registered his appreciation in a thank you message to members of his constituency released by his Aide, Seun Akinpelu.
The ranking lawnaker appreciated the electorates for renewing their confidence in him noting that, without their continued support, his success would have been a distant dream.
“I thank our people once again for this mandate and promise to live up to your expectations, thank you and God bless, “Now our work is simple-to do what we promised and what you voted for-is a task we shall pursue relentlessly with every fibre of our common resolve from day one, I guarantee you.
As you all aware, it wasn’t our first time, we have been doing the best we can to ensure that our people enjoy the real sense of dividends of Democracy which culminated to the numerous lofty ideas and project we have executed with my my sincere assurance of positive accommodation to the good work that must start in earnest for all our people across the 38 wards of the three Local Government Areas that makes of our constituency”.
While extending his gratitude to Leaders and Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the Constituency, Rt. Hon Olumide Osoba said” If there are people out there, who still doubt the popularity of our great party; who do not reckon with our leadership in this political landscape and who still dispute our progressive approach to governance, our comfortable victory in the just concluded general elections readily offers them an infallible answer.
According to him ” the victory is the answer that the party’s unrepentant critics cannot contest, even in their wildest dream, given the credibility of the process that gave us the mandate, this answer did not in any way come by accident or chance, It came by dint of the hard work our party and campaign council invested in the electioneering”
He promised not to renege on his Campaign promises which was anchored on quality and qualitative representation for his people , ensuring the welfare of his people, empowerment opportunities for youths and women, promoting policies to improve national economic performance and financial sector development among other things.
