Alhaji Tunde Ologburo, a man after God’s heart

As the Sanmori of Oyo, Ologburo is not only a successful businessman but also a reputable philanthropist.
With over four decades of experience in business, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quickborn Nigeria Ltd. stands tall among his peers.
This elegant personality is an example of God’s blessing who radiate affluence, class, humility, greatness and everything he touches turns into gold.
Little wonder why Ologburo is the toast of the society and he is arguably the most successful businessman in Oyo State who has written his name into gold.
By the time Ologburo will be celebrating his 60th birthday on first of October, 2020, history will forever be kind to him following his good deeds and philanthropic gestures.
Ologburo’s humble beginning
Born in Pakoyi area of Oyo town in Oyo State to the families of Alhaji Wahab Iyanda Ologburo, a frontiline businessman and Omooba Wulemot Ejide Ologburo of Alowolodu Ruling House of Oyo on October 1st, 1960, the same day Nigeria got independence, Alhaji Musbau ‘Tunde Ologburo cut his teeth through hard work and dedication which made him a household name today.
The 5th in a family of 6, he started his elementary education in 1966 at LA Pry School, Oke-Olola.
He later proceeded to Durbar Modern School, Oyo before completing his secondary education at Oranyan Grammar School, Sabo, Oyo.
Ologburo started working with the defunct West Africa Portland Cement, now Lafarge, immediately he left secondary school.
He worked in sales and marketing division of the company. This afforded him the opportunity of taking courses in sales and marketing from international professional bodies in sales.
Having planned his exit from the first day he started working, he left the company 7 years after to take charge of his own company, Bamol Nig. Enterprises, which he had set up in 1984.
The company deals in building material, majoring in cement. He did this until 1991, when he ventured fully into export and import business which he had started in1988. He exported cashew, sheanut and cocoa while at the same time,using the proceed from export for import business.
This was after he had built his first house in 1983, a year after he started working, with proceed from the N2, 300 his father gave him on his first day at work for a truck of cement business.
In 2000, he established Quickborn Nigeria Ltd, with the aim of advancing civil engineering works. About 5 years later, in quick succession, he established October Contruction, Independence Construction and Libera International Ltd, all majoring in civil engineering works, dealing with government and oil companies. Currently, his companies now handle real estate together with civil engineering works.
Despite his busy schedule, he has time to unwind. A bossom friend of decades of Fuji Maestro, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, he uses his weekend to attend to people. He is a member of many local and international clubs part of which are the Ibadan Recreation Club and Wednesday Club.
Ologburo is an achiever and a silent Philanthropist
In recognition of Ologburo’s philanthropic gestures, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III in 1996, turbaned him as the Sanmori Adini of Oyoland.
Ologburo is a man of the people who loves helping and putting smile on the faces of the people.
This humble man apart from being the man of the people is also a devote Muslim who is dedicated and committed to the development of Islam.
And for his participation in religious activities, particularly for his contributions to the growth of Islam, Ologburo got a special award of Excellence from Ansar-u-deen Society in 2006.
Ologburo was the Chairman of the Governing Council of Monatan High School, Ibadan.
A silent philanthropist and lover of education, he has sponsored many indigent but financially-incapacitated youths for educational advancement.

Alhaji Ologburo is married to Alhaja Bola Ologburo, a top businesswoman and the marriage is blessed with children who are blazing the trail in their different fields of endeavour.
His first child, Abiola is a management staff of CBN; Temitope is a U.K-trained first class accountant; Barr. Dolapo is also trained in the UK. Folawiyo is a Master’s degree student with University College, London, the last daughter of the house, Temitayo is a graduate of Business Administration in Dubai couple with her status as international beauty expert.
An avid sports man, he likes basketball and table tennis.
