Operatives of the Sango-Ota Division arrested three suspects identified as Pelumi Akintande, 21, Mojeed Sanusi, 28, and Mubarak Lateef, 17, in connection with an armed robbery incident reported in the Alasia Community.

Police investigations revealed that the suspects allegedly attacked a resident and forcefully dispossessed the victim of valuables. Acting on credible intelligence and information provided by members of the public, officers swiftly tracked down and arrested the suspects.

During the operation, a locally fabricated cut-to-size pistol and an expended cartridge allegedly used during the robbery were recovered. Police authorities disclosed that efforts are ongoing to arrest other members of the gang who remain at large.

Suspect Nabbed for Housebreaking and Theft in Ofada

In a separate operation, officers attached to the Owode-Egba Division arrested 22-year-old Damilare Makanjuola over allegations of housebreaking and theft in Ofada.

The suspect was reportedly apprehended while attempting to gain unlawful access into a shop after scaling a perimeter fence. Further investigation linked him to several burglary incidents within Sun City Estate, Ofada, where cash exceeding ₦100,000, electrical appliances, and other valuables were reportedly stolen.
