Yayi Assures Non-Indigenes of Security, Equal Opportunities and Business Protection

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has assured non-indigenes residing in Ogun State that their lives, businesses and investments will remain protected if he is elected governor in the 2027 governorship election.
Speaking during an interactive session with leaders and members of non-indigenous communities in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant said his administration would operate an inclusive government where every resident, regardless of ethnic origin or religion, would enjoy equal rights and opportunities.
Yayi stressed that Ogun State’s economic prosperity depends largely on the contributions of people from different parts of Nigeria and beyond, assuring that no group would face discrimination under his leadership.
He pledged to strengthen security across the state through improved collaboration with security agencies, community policing initiatives and intelligence gathering to ensure a safe environment for residents and investors.
The senator also promised to protect businesses by creating a more investor-friendly environment, improving infrastructure, reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks and supporting policies that encourage private sector growth.
According to him, his administration would ensure that entrepreneurs, traders, manufacturers and industrialists operate in a peaceful atmosphere capable of attracting more local and foreign investments into Ogun State.
Yayi further assured non-indigenes that they would be adequately represented in governance and decision-making processes, saying every resident who contributes to the development of Ogun deserves recognition and a sense of belonging.
He pledged to promote peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups while fostering unity, tolerance and mutual respect across the state.
The APC chieftain said his vision is to transform Ogun into one of Nigeria’s safest destinations for business, manufacturing, agriculture, commerce and industrial development.
He also promised to invest in road infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment and job creation to improve the quality of life of residents and stimulate economic growth.
Yayi assured market leaders, artisans, transport operators and business owners that his government would implement policies aimed at expanding economic opportunities, improving access to finance for small and medium-scale enterprises and encouraging innovation.
He reiterated that the protection of lives and property would remain a top priority, adding that investors would enjoy confidence knowing their investments were secure under his administration.
The senator urged residents of the state, irrespective of their ethnic background, to support his vision of building an inclusive, prosperous and economically competitive Ogun State where every citizen and resident has the opportunity to succeed.
