Tola Banjo lauds Elevation of Hon. Justice Habeeb Adewale Olumuyiwa Abiru as Supreme Court Justice

Former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo has congratulated Hon. Justice Habeeb Adewale Olumuyiwa Abiru and the entire people of Ikorodu area of Lagos State as the eminent jurist took oath of Office as Honorable Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Hon. Tola Banjo’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement released by his media Office, the Former Deputy Speaker described the elevation of Hon. Justice Olumuyiwa Abiru as well deserved noting that he has contributed in no small measure to the growth of Judiciary in Nigeria.

He said that Abiru’s knowledge of various legal issues is deep and profoundly vast, just as his ability to study and analyse litigations brought before him preparatory to giving sound judgments is extraordinary.

“The elevation of Justice Olumuyiwa Abiru to the bench of the apex court is one that every Ikorodu indigene is celebrating. I sincerely wish him success as he adjudicates on cases to be brought before him, as a Supreme Court Justice, now,” Banjo said.

Hon. Justice Habeeb Adewale Olumuyiwa Abiru is the first indigene of Ikorodu to be appointed as a Justice of the Nigeria’s apex court, a feat described by many as not only personal triumph for His Lordship, the Abiru family but also a momentous occasion for the entire Ikorodu Division, and Lagos State as a whole.
