Tinubu 2027 Campaign: TMF Hails Moremi Ojudu’s Grassroots Mobilisation Appointment

By Akin Alade
As preparations gather momentum ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the Tinubu Media Force (TMF) has emphasised the importance of grassroots intelligence, accurate data analysis and strategic communication in strengthening political mobilisation, following the appointment of Moremi Ojudu as Secretary, Grassroots Mobilisation, of the Presidential Campaign.
The organisation, which describes itself as Nigeria’s largest progressive grassroots media network, congratulated Ojudu on her appointment, describing the development as a strategic decision capable of enhancing community engagement, campaign coordination and effective communication between political leaders and voters across the country.
In a congratulatory statement, the National Coordinator of Tinubu Media Force, Gbenga Abiola, popularly known as AGBELEBU, described Ojudu’s appointment as “a round peg in a round hole,” stressing that successful grassroots mobilisation must go beyond political rallies, publicity campaigns and conventional voter engagement.
According to Abiola, modern political mobilisation requires a comprehensive understanding of community needs, systematic information gathering, accurate interpretation of grassroots realities and strategic planning capable of transforming public expectations into practical campaign programmes. He maintained that political organisations seeking meaningful engagement must prioritise credible data, effective communication channels and proper coordination of their grassroots structures.
The TMF National Coordinator further explained that identifying the peculiar challenges confronting communities, understanding local political dynamics and addressing communication gaps would enable campaign organisations to allocate resources effectively, strengthen relationships with voters and measure the impact of their mobilisation activities.
Also speaking, the Deputy National Coordinator of Tinubu Media Force, Razak Jeje, congratulated Ojudu and expressed confidence in the importance of her new assignment. He observed that sustainable grassroots mobilisation must be anchored on reliable information, effective planning, continuous feedback and a coordinated structure that connects community expectations with broader campaign objectives.
Jeje maintained that political mobilisation would achieve better results when campaign managers establish functional communication networks capable of gathering feedback directly from communities and translating such information into informed decisions. He stressed that grassroots engagement should be treated as a continuous process rather than an activity restricted to election periods.
Both leaders emphasised that the integration of data intelligence, digital communication and community-based mobilisation would play a significant role in strengthening campaign planning ahead of the 2027 general elections. They noted that an effective grassroots structure must be responsive to changing political realities while maintaining regular engagement with citizens across different communities.
The organisation expressed optimism that Ojudu’s appointment would contribute to the development of a more coordinated grassroots mobilisation framework, particularly in areas involving strategic communication, community intelligence, voter engagement and the management of campaign information.
Tinubu Media Force consequently reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots communication, digital engagement and structured information dissemination in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The group wished Moremi Ojudu success in her new responsibility, expressing confidence that effective planning, grassroots understanding and strategic coordination would remain central to her assignment.
