Oke-Ogun APC leaders re-affirm support for Governor Dapo Abiodun led government, seeks more development for their community

Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oke Ogun Community Forum of Abeokuta North Area of Ogun State have been encouraged to continue to remain a united front and one indivisible entity in order to continue to record success in future elections just as it was witnessed in previous and most recently the 2023 general elections.

This was the submission of Leaders as the Forum held its end of year meeting to appraise the successes recorded in the last elections and chart a new cause to achieve more in coming elections.

The meeting which was held at the GRA Ibara Residence of the Chairman of the Forum and Consultant to Ogun State Governor on Media, Prince Ifekayode Akinbode on Thursday is expected to re-ignite members on the need to continue to support leaders of the party across all strata and most importantly, Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration.

Addressing members, Prince Ifekayode Akinbode appreciated Leaders of the party including those of Olorunda/ Ijale Ward 13,Imala/ Idi Emi Ward 14, Ilewo/Isaga ward 15 and Ibara-Orile/Onisasa/Idi-Ori ward 16 for their support before and after the General Elections, which according to him was evident in the overwhelming victory recorded for APC across the four wards that makes up Oke -Ogun.

He also appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for his support towards the growth and development of Oke – Ogun and as well paid glowing appreciation to the Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Afolabi Salisu, and member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency, Hon Olumide Osoba for their various giant strides to keep Oke Ogun afloat.

The Chairman also expressed his joy over the outstanding performance of the member of state House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, Hon Prince Babatunde Tella, stressing that he has demonstrated that he has the best interest of the people at heart and by so doing he has placed Oke Ogun at an enviable heights.

Chairman there after called on Leaders not to relent in giving their best to the growth of the Oke-Ogun, Abeokuta North and Ogun State at large even as he solicited for more support for the Governor Abiodun led administration.

In his response, Prince Hon Tella thanked the leaders for their unwavering support, he promised that from the looks of things 2024 will be better year for the people of the Community and Local Government.

He assured the gathering that, he will not relent in his oars in bringing the dividends of democracy to the Local Government.

Also addressing the gathering, Major Adejinmi RTD and Hon Bayowa Ibikunle expressed Confidence in the leadership of Oke-Ogun as they both pledge their loyalty to the gathering.

Shortly after, it was unanimously agreed that for Oke Ogun to continue to witness rapid development, it is imperative for all hands to be on deck as members agreed to give in their best and support to any course which can bring meaningful growrh to the community and other parts of the Local Government Area.

Those in attendance includes the Executive Vice Chairman of Abeokuta North; Hon Ayoola Oluajo, Hon. Abel Segun , Hon Sunday Ogundiran , Hon Erubami, Hon Lukmon Adeogun, Councilors from Ward 13 ,14,15 and 16 respectively. Others are Abeokuta North Supervisor for Special Duty,; Hon Aliu Omosowon, Hon Dasofunjo, Hon. semiu Akintade, the four Ward Chairmen from the community.
Others includes Ogun State Financial Secretary of ROMO and Bada Isaga; Prince Mukaila Oniyinde, Abeokuta North APC Secretary; Alhaji Azeez Adedigba, Abeokuta North APC Treasurer, and the Community Secretary, Mr. Oluwaseun Akinpelu, Hon Ojobo, Hon Fakorede, Hon Oyatope, Hon Segun Akinyemi, Hon Adesina Adejumo, Mr Kola Sobande, Hon Sunday Afolabi, Mrs Funke Obasami, Hon Abegurin, Hon Abiola, Mr. Fatai Balogun, Prince Lekan Salako, Mrs Muninat Sogbesan and host of other Leaders from the community.
