Ogun YII congratulates Gov. Abiodun on his re-election, expressed confidence in his ability to consolidate on the laudable achievements of first term
A political support group under the aegis of Youth Inclusive Initiative, Ogun State Chapter has congratulated, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his victory at the poll in the last Saturday gubernatorial and House of Assembly Elections.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Coordinator, Akinpelu Abdullah, the group asked Governor Dapo Abiodun to extend a hand of fellowship to all individuals and groups involved in the election, thus to heal pre-election wounds and to retain Ogun State as the beacon of excellence in the country.

Governor Dapo Abiodun’s victory in a peaceful, free, and fair process is a testament to his sterling first-term performance and an affirmation of the confidence reposed in him by the good people of Ogun state.
During his first term, Governor Abiodun embarked and commissioned important life changing projects, particularly in the areas of road infrastructure with focused on projects like the Ogun agro-cargo airport, the gateway epicenter, education development across the three senatorial district, substantiated efforts to create empowerment and employment for the people.
“It is now incumbent on him to repay the people’s faith by building on the achievements of his first term and bringing further tangible improvement to the lives of the people of our dear state”,he wrote.
Akinpelu added that Governor Abiodun’s re-election has demonstrated what a united and cooperative APC can do when working together to advance our party’s progressive agenda.
“On behalf of the Ogun State YII, I want to encourage Prince Dapo Abiodun to be magnanimous in victory and extend his hand of fellowship to those who contested against him in the interest of the development of the Gateway State” he said.
Akinpelu Abdullah expressed confidence that Governor Dapo Abiodun will use the second mandate to consolidate on the laudable achievements he recorded in his first term.
