Ogun PDP OGHA candidate “O’kenny” returns to school, says knowledge is not static

Education fosters and enhances work skills as well as life skills such as trust or confidence and sociability as an instrument of development.
Those individual skills promote societal – level economic growth through increased productivity and potentially better governance.
For Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde Hassan popularly known as O’kenny, one goal remains sacrosanct; advancing the socio-economic development of Ogun State, most especially his constituency, Odeda State Constituency.
To achieve this, the young entrepreneur declared his interest to contest for the Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA) to represent the good people of Odeda State Constituency come 2023.
To ensure he is better equipped for the task ahead, Hon. Odewunmi decided to take a rather daunting but productive path, unlike many other politicians who sees politics as a means to advance their own selfish cause, O’kenny sees it as a means to serve the people and to effectively do so, one must improve him or herself to a great length which informed his decision to return to School and acquire more knowledge.
Currently studying Political Science at the Lagos State University (LASU) to earn his Bachelor Degree, Hon. Odewunmi’s decision to run was informed by the urge to join hands with the government at the center in advancing the socio-economic development of the state.
He has no doubt stressed that he has the capacity and capability to give the people of Odeda State Constituency quality representation that would go a long way to make huge difference in their wellbeing.
In one of his interactions with people, he said “this ambition is not for selfish agenda neither is it for pecuniary gains but rather an intervention that is being driven by my love for the people.
I know what to do when I get to the house to assist in innovation, fighting poverty and joblessness.
“I know what to do to facilitate other development to our constituency, support our women and the youth too.
It’s certainly going to be a very, very accountable representation in a way that you have never seen before.

“I want to assure you that all of you my fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers and every resident of our great local government will be proud of my achievements”
To actualize the above statements, he has taken a bolder step by preparing himself for a cause he so much belief in because back to a four wall of a classroom to learn amidst people young enough to be one’s children has a been a daunting task for most politicians but O’kenny has led the way and his constituency would be better for it.
