NIS Ends Third-Party Visa Processing for US Applicants, Introduces Direct Embassy Submission

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has discontinued the use of a third-party service provider for processing Nigerian visa applications in the United States, directing all applicants to submit their requests directly through Nigerian diplomatic missions until further notice.

According to the NIS, travellers seeking Nigerian visas in the United States are now required to submit their applications at the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C., or at the country’s Consulates in New York and Atlanta. The Service stated that its partnership with Online Integrated Solutions (OIS Services), which previously handled visa application submissions, has been terminated.
