Mrs Oluyinka Adewoye, founder of the Foundation made this call at an event yesterday in Lagos.

She disclosed that the foundation which came into existence few years back was founded and principally focused on touching lives positively by reaching out to the less privileged in the society through various empowerment and health enhancement programmes targeted mainly at children and women, especially widows.

According to her, the foundation had in recent times impacted positively on over one thousand (1,000) widows by providing and facilitating free medical advice, care and drugs, -Free trainings, several self empowerment programmes and other ventures as well as providing rural dwellers and the needy with food and household items.

“Widows from Makoko, Kosofe, Masha, Bariga, Mushin all in Lagos State have so far benefited from our multi-empowerment scheme. Recently, we had an elaborate programme for Widows in Abeokuta in Ogun State, which was highly impactful and beneficial to all the attendees”, Adewoye added. 

Meanwhile, Adewoye said the Foundation will next Friday, November 19, 2021 honour prominent Nigerians and corporate bodies to a Dinner and Award ceremony which has been scheduled for Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi Lagos.

Adewoye, disclosed further that the foundation will be using the avenue to celebrate those who have contributed eminently to societal development, and made life meaningful to Nigerians and beyond.
