In a landmark moment for Nigeria’s democratic process, the All Progressives Congress held its National Convention at Eagle Square, Abuja, bringing together thousands of delegates, party officials, and stakeholders committed to shaping the nation’s future.
Hon. Princess Kikelomo Ikuomola, Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Public & Intergovernmental Affairs, was among the notable attendees, symbolizing the growing influence of women in steering party direction and policy.
The convention was marked by a spirit of renewal and collective responsibility. Beyond the election of party leadership, it reaffirmed the values and vision of the APC for sustainable national development. Hon. Kikelomo Ikuomola joined forces with other distinguished women leaders, including Hon. A key highlight of the event was the election of Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as National Chairman, signaling a new era of strategic leadership. The convention also confirmed consensus candidates for other key positions, including Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana as Deputy National Secretary and Barrister Muritala Aliyu Kankia as National Legal Adviser, reflecting the party’s commitment to cohesion and stability.
