Asiwaju Kamorudeen Oladejo, an Abuja-based businessman and high chief from Owu, has revealed the true driving force behind his massive investment in the hospitality sector—his childhood dream of owning a hotel. In an exclusive interview with Nigeria Standard Magazine, Oladejo shared that his journey into the hospitality industry was not just about business, but about creating a space where people could experience comfort, luxury, and service at the highest standard.
The newly built, three-star hotel located in Suleja boasts over 50 rooms and 20 suites, each designed with modern, state-of-the-art facilities to cater to both the young and the old. Oladejo, who has always been passionate about creating beautiful things, credits much of his success to his unwavering faith in God and his belief in the power of kindness, sincerity, and truthfulness.
“This hotel is a product of years of dedication, hard work, and God’s grace,” Oladejo said. “I’ve always wanted to build something meaningful, something that will stand the test of time and provide lasting value to the community. It’s not just a business; it’s a legacy.”
As an artisan turned entrepreneur, Oladejo has spent years honing his skills and learning the ropes of successful business management. His son, Taofeeq Olawale Kamarudin, played a vital role in the architectural design and structure of the hotel, showcasing the strong family bond that is at the heart of the project.
Reflecting on the skepticism he faced when starting his first project, Oladejo recalled how people doubted the location of his first property. “They said it wasn’t the right area for a business like mine. But I knew it was just the beginning of something much bigger,” he said. Five years later, with his new hotel opening its doors, Oladejo is proud to have reached what he calls the “tertiary level” of his vision.
Known for his humility and deep sense of service, Oladejo continues to live by his philosophy of humility, patience, and the willingness to learn from others. He believes that success is not about chasing material wealth but about serving others and making a positive impact. His hotel, set to open on May 29th, 2025, will be graced by Muslim scholars, Christian leaders, and a special performance by Fuji maestro, King Saheed Osupa.
Oladejo expressed confidence that his hotel, with its high-quality service and unique offerings, will quickly become a sought-after destination for both business and leisure travelers. He also offered a heartfelt prayer for his well-wishers, thanking them for their continued support and hoping that others will be inspired by his story of faith, perseverance, and dedication.
As his vision comes to life, Oladejo’s success is not just a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit but to the power of believing in God and staying true to one’s values.
