THE PRESIDENT OF BURUNDI, HIS WIFE AND HIGH LEVEL DELEGATION FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND GOOD PEOPLE OF BURUNDI WILL BE ATTENDING THE INAUGURATION OF BOLA AHMED TINUBU AS THE 16TH PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
The President of Burundi, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye and his wife Mrs Angelina Ndayishimiye will lead a 26 man powerful delegation from Burundi and the East African Economic community to attend the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Monday 29th May, 2023.
In a release made available to the media in Getiga, the political capital of Burundi, the Head of the Nigerian Mission in Burundi, His Excellency Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba disclosed that the Burundian President will on the 30th of May 2023 engage with a cross section of some Nigerian youths in a Burundi-Nigeria Youths Chat titled *The Youth Champion of the African Union* in Abuja, Nigeria.
It will be recalled that Nigeria and Burundi recently signed the Nigeria-Burundi Joint Commission which has revolutionized trade, economic and political interaction between both nations.
