Nigerian Army Passes Out 3,000 Recruits at Ebonyi Training Depot
The Nigerian Army has passed out 3,000 newly trained recruits at its training depot in Amasiri, Ebonyi State, marking another milestone in the military’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its operational capacity and enhance national security.
The passing-out parade, held at the Depot Nigerian Army in Amasiri, attracted senior military officers, government officials, traditional rulers, and families of the recruits, who gathered to witness the completion of the soldiers’ intensive military training.
Addressing the new soldiers, the Chief of Army Staff charged them to remain disciplined, professional, courageous, and loyal in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities. He reminded the recruits that they are now entrusted with the duty of protecting Nigeria’s sovereignty, safeguarding lives and property, and contributing to peace and stability across the country.
The Army leadership stated that the graduation of the recruits forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Nigerian Army through continuous recruitment, rigorous training, and capacity building to effectively tackle emerging security challenges nationwide.
Military authorities also reaffirmed their commitment to improving training facilities, enhancing personnel welfare, and adopting modern operational strategies to build a highly motivated and combat-ready force capable of responding to the country’s evolving security threats.
The newly graduated soldiers are expected to proceed for further orientation and deployment to various military formations and operational theatres across Nigeria as part of efforts to reinforce ongoing security operations
