Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Reshuffles Cabinet, Removes Special Advisers and Senior Aides
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved a cabinet reshuffle that has led to the removal of all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary.
The changes were announced in a statement issued by the governor’s office, which described the exercise as a strategic move aimed at strengthening governance and creating opportunities for more members of the ruling party to contribute to the administration.
According to the statement, the restructuring is intended to inject fresh ideas and renewed energy into the government as it continues to implement its development agenda across the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation to the affected officials for their commitment and contributions during their time in office, wishing them success in their future endeavours.
The governor also directed all affected political appointees to hand over government property and official responsibilities in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government to ensure a smooth transition.
The cabinet shake-up is expected to pave the way for fresh appointments as the administration seeks to broaden participation, improve service delivery and reposition the government for greater efficiency in meeting the developmental aspirations of the people of Kwara State.
