Tinubu Hosts Religious and Traditional Leaders at Interfaith Iftar in Aso Rock

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday hosted an interfaith iftar for clerics and traditional rulers at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock Presidential Villa, bringing together leaders from different religious and cultural backgrounds.
The gathering, held in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, created an avenue for religious and traditional institutions to interact with the presidency while promoting unity and mutual respect. The event was attended by prominent Islamic scholars, Christian clerics, and several monarchs and chiefs representing diverse communities across Nigeria.
In his remarks, President Tinubu stressed the need for religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and national unity. He called on Nigerians to continue embracing values that encourage harmony, particularly during periods of religious observance.
Traditional rulers and clerics at the event also reaffirmed their commitment to peace and pledged continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting stability and social cohesion throughout the country.
The interfaith iftar underscored the importance of dialogue and collaboration among religious and traditional leaders in strengthening national unity and shared values in Nigeria.
