- As the party conducts its State Congress, Hon. Olayinka Faniyi (YINFANNY), a proud daughter of Ibadan Southwest and committed stakeholder, has formally declared her intention to contest for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat to represent Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2 in the forthcoming elections.
- Making the declaration with confidence, she expressed strong faith in the people and the party’s structure, noting that her aspiration is driven not by personal ambition alone but by a genuine passion for service, accountability, grassroots development, youth empowerment, women inclusion, and sustainable progress.
Welcoming constituents into the month of March, she extended warm greetings to the people of Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2 and expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the gift of life and the opportunity to witness a new month filled with hope and possibilities.
Having consistently participated in party activities and community engagement, she affirmed her understanding of the daily realities faced by market women, the aspirations of youths, and the expectations of elders. According to her, the constituency deserves representation that is courageous, accessible, compassionate, and effective at the legislative level.
She also appreciated the unwavering support of constituents for the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the progressive vision for national transformation must be strengthened at the state and constituency levels to ensure Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2 takes its rightful place in the development agenda.
On the occasion of the State Congress, she congratulated party leaders, stakeholders, and newly elected executives, urging them to embrace unity, internal democracy, and collective responsibility in repositioning the party for greater victories.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, she called on constituents, party faithful, youths, women groups, and community leaders to remain united and extend support to all party candidates, emphasizing that collective effort is key to consolidating progress and securing a stronger future.
She concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, empowerment, and abundant blessings for every household in Ibadan Southwest, expressing hope for a constituency where no woman is silenced, no youth is neglected, and no community is left behind.
