Breaking News: INEC Registers Two New Political Parties
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the registration of two new political parties, expanding the number of officially recognised political parties in Nigeria.
The announcement was made during a meeting between the electoral body and leaders of registered political parties in Abuja. INEC confirmed that one of the parties successfully fulfilled all constitutional and legal requirements for registration, while the second party was registered in compliance with a judgment delivered by a Federal High Court.
