Valiant Progressive Club Celebrates Ogbomoso Cradle Carnival In Grand Style

The Valiant Progressive Club of Ogbomoso, led by its President, Prince Akin Alade, a seasoned journalist and businessman, joined thousands of indigenes and visitors to celebrate and add colour to the second edition of the Ogbomoso Cradle Carnival, held under the auspices of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye.
Speaking with members of the press during the carnival, Prince Akin Alade described the event as a huge success, noting that the initiative will continue to add beauty and value to Ogbomoso land in the years ahead.
According to him, the carnival promotes unity and harmony among the people while projecting Ogbomoso to the global community.
He emphasized that the Cradle Carnival has the potential to attract investors from across the world by showcasing Ogbomoso as a viable destination for business, culture, and tourism.
The initiative, he added, encourages sons and daughters of the land, both home and abroad, to return home regularly and remain connected to their roots.
Prince Alade acknowledged that the carnival idea had been conceived years ago but praised the emergence of the new monarch, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, describing him as a visionary leader who injected fresh ideas and global standards into the project, transforming it into a world-class carnival.
He further revealed that the Valiant Progressive Club has well-articulated plans for the development of Ogbomoso land.
He stressed that the club is not a regular or common association, but a vision-driven platform committed to partnering with lovers and developers of Ogbomoso to take the town to greater heights.
According to him, the club boasts of captains of industry among its members, all of whom are willing and ready to cooperate in building a formidable force for the socio-economic development of Ogbomoso.
