A member of the House of representatives representing Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi Owode Federal constituency, Hon Olumide Osoba has congratulated the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, on the occasion of his 79th birthday anniversary.
Hon. Osoba, in a goodwill message, acknowledged the contributions of the traditional ruler to nation building through various platforms and applauded him for his wise counsel on national issues.
The Federal lawmaker while extending his goodwill message to the people of Egbaland, prayed for longer life for the paramount ruler.
While acknowledging that the role of traditional rulers in the sustenance of peace and unity cannot be undermined, He urged the royal father to sustain his advocacy on peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups in Ogun State and the Nation at large.
“On behalf of the people of Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency I convey my warm greetings to the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday anniversary.
“As a foremost traditional ruler, the Alake has over the years contributed immensely to the social, economic and political development of Nigeria.
“The monarch has vast experience in leadership and as such, leaders at all levels of government will continue to tap from his knowledge.
“Kabiyesi, your reign has brought growth and progress to Egbaland and by extension Ogun state.
“My prayers for you on your birthday is that God Almighty should continue to bestow on you long life and wisdom to serve the people of Egba kingdom, Ogun State and indeed Nigerians at large.
