Ogun Commissioner for Culture, “Hon. Adijat” Celebrates Alake @79


The Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has felicitated with the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo on the occasion of his 79th birthday anniversary.
Extolling the virtues of the monarch, the Commissioner described the revered monarch as a strong advocate of peace and unity, adding that the first class traditional ruler has sustained his passion for the advancement of his domain, Egba Nation, Yorubaland and Nigeria in general.
Hon. Adeleye-Oladapo, who admonished the Alake not to relent in his efforts to advance the cause of the people, added that traditional rulers play key roles in promoting unity and harmony across the country.
She equally prayed for longer life for the monarch in the service of humanity.
She said, “The Alake of Egbaland is a role model to his contemporaries, owing to his contributions to humanity.
“The monarch is known for his contributions to the social, economic and political development of Nigeria.
“Kabiyesi deserves to be celebrated for his passion for the growth and progress of not only Egbaland and Ogun State but the country at large.
“As you marks your 79th birthday anniversary, Kabiyesi, I wish you longer reign on the stool of your forefathers and a joyous birthday celebration”. She said.
