I will ensure timely completion of all projects I facilitated to my constituency area – Olumide Osoba

A member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/ Odeda Federal constituency, Hon. Olumide Osoba has promised members of his Constituency that all intervention projects facilitated by his office to the constituency will be completed before the expiration of the current political dispensation.

The Chairman, House committee on Youths and sports gave the assurance while playing host to executive members of the Premier Grammar School Abeokuta, Old Students Association who came on a thank you visit to him over the construction of an international sports center in the school.

While appreciating the Federal lawmaker on behalf of the association, the President, Elder Olusina Ajayi described the Mini International Sports Center as laudable and capable of empowering young Nigerians with interest in Sports as a means of livelihood which according to him would have multiplier effects on Social and Economic development of not only Ogun state but the nation at large.

“We are here to thank you for counting our Alma-Mata worthy of such magnificent gesture, we also hoped for the timely completion of the project.

I believe that with such intervention project, youths in the communities would be engaged into productive ventures where their energy would be channelled for peace and unity and as well to uncover talented youths in the area for national sporting events”

Hon. Osoba While allaying the fears of the association over their concern on the timely Intervention of the project among other sundry issues, gave assurance that all project he facilitated to his constituency will have additional funds backing their execution in the 2023 appropriation bill.

He promised that he is ever poised to serve and guide the mandate given to him jealously by ensuring that all projects targeted at developing the people particularly the youths, women and children are focused on.

“It is glaring that government alone cannot meet the socio-economic needs of the people, hence the need for collaborative efforts from gifted individuals and organizations and in my capacity as member of the House of Representatives, I won’t renege on my campaign promises as my people needs my presence more now than ever”

” I am a productive of a family with impeccable records of service to the people of Ogun State and I am going to state unequivocally that, I won’t soil the name build by my parents for decades all in the name of stomach infrastructures, I am here to serve and will continue to do just that.

On the completion of the mini sports center undergoing construction in premier grammar school and other projects going on in other areas of my constituency, be rest assured that all would be completed and open for public use”.

While announcing that arrangements have been made to install solar energy power around the facilities among other things, He also encouraged the association to take ownership of the project and guide it jealously.

Also present at the meeting was the Chairperson, All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta North, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde, A former commissioner for youths and Sports in Ogun State, Chief Bukola Olopade and other APC party Leaders.
