Ogun Assembly candidate ” O’kenny” condemns Owo killings, wants FG to rise up security challenges


The Ogun state House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny has condemned the heinous killing of worshippers on Sunday at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, in Ondo State.
Sending a condolence message to the people and government of Ondo State through his Media office, the Ogun House of Assembly candidate described the perpetrators as cowards who want to undermine the unity and corporate existence of Nigeria.
While commiserating with families of the victims of the unfortunate incident, he called for concerted efforts from the APC led government and security agencies to be up doing in protecting and safeguarding properties and lives of Nigerians.
“Terrible news today from Owo in Ondo State, clearly a trait of cowardice and people with no love instinct in them, I condemn those responsible for this horrific crime and I extend my sympathies to all those affected.” he said.
Recall that not less than 25 worshippers were killed by herdsmen who attacked the church at Owo.
