Party Primaries : Olumide Osoba Appreciates constituents, promised to deliver more goodies in the Tenth Legislature

The newly elected candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC and member representing Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal constituency in the House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba has appreciated members of the Constituency for their show of love and support at the last Friday’s Party’s Primaries which gave him another shot at representing his people at the green chamber of the National Assembly in 2023.
In a congratulatory message through this Media office, the chairman House Committee on Sports said that he was overwhelmed that the people believe so much in him.
While saying that he would not take their support for granted, The Federal promised to do more for the people and make Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda local government areas the cynosure of all eyes.
The Federal lawmaker said that time had come for the people of his constituency to move ahead of others, saying that he would continue to do his best for the people.
“The victory is not for me alone, I dedicate it to my people, who have always been there for me come rain and shine and I will always stand by them. It is a privilege to serve, I don’t see myself as being better than others, but it is just an opportunity for us to serve our people.
“I will not stop doing whatever we need to do for our people; we will rather do more so that we can wipe away tears from their faces. I love my people, they are the best and I see them as partners in progress and we pray that we will win the general elections so that we can kick-start the next phase of our programmes for the people,” he said.
In the just concluded APC House of representatives party primaries, the incumbent Olumide Osoba polled a total of 118 votes to defeat two other aspirants Taiwo Oludotun who polled 40 votes while, Adesina Bibire garnered 30 votes respectively.
