OGUN BMT PROJECT : Hon Omolola Bakre lauds Gov Dapo, says one good turn deserves another
The State House of Assembly Aspirant, vying for the assembly seat of Ijebu – Ode state constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Hon Omolola Bakre Olanrewaju has commended Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his efforts to give the needed boost to the state transportation sector by providing Mass Transit buses across the state thereby eliminating traffic challenges being faced by people of the state.
Hon Omolola Bakre praised the governor for also expanding transportation business in Ogun state.
According to her, the completion of the bus projects would ensure a substantial reduction in grid locks and cost of living across the state.
The aspirant while speaking with newsmen over the weekend, said the governor deserved commendation just as she expressed optimism that the bus projects would be completed by the administration.
“Traffic has become something else and people complain always. The projects are, thus, aimed at relieving people of the harrowing experiences they face on the roads.
“Particularly on this issue of transportation to improve quality of life and well being , reduce commuting time and enhance ease of consummating economic activities”
This is what our people deserve and we are encouraging the governor to do more, particularly on this transportation issue to bring dividends to the grassroots.
“It is only a responsible government that would ensure that such wasted hours are reduced to the nearest minimum,” he said.
Today 6th of April 2022, the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon Rotimi Ameachi officially unveiled our Gateway Bus Pilot Scheme and Strategic Transport Masterplan in Ogun State.
