2023 : Tola Banjo on a gliding spree to the green chamber of the National Assembly

In his book on political science, titled, ‘’Substance of Politics,’’ Renowned Scholar, Professor Angadipuram Appadorai while trying to define politics, raised a question. He asked, ‘’What is politics?’’ As an authority he also answered the question. He said that, ‘’Politics is the struggle for power.’’ He then went further to ask why people struggle for power and he answered that it was for the distribution of scarce resources.

Placing much and extreme emphasis on evenly distribution of limited resources to better lots of the people, as Nigeria approaches the 2023 general elections, the electorates should be mindful of choosing only people that would cater to their welfare when they are elected into office or in power, Otherwise the distribution of scare resources would be done in such an inefficient manner that the people would be at the receiving end of the leaders.

One of such personality capable of not betraying the trust of the people is a Man described by many has the best among the gifts bestowed on the people of Ijebu -Ode/Odogbolu/ Ijebu North East Federal Constituency by the creator of heaven and earth Himself.

He is a Former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Tola Banjo, a vibrant young man with the heart of gold, personified and endeared himself into the heart of his people through numerous philanthropy gestures and facilitates countless developmental projects while in public service as lawmaker representing Ijebu Ode state constituency between 2011 and 2015 legislative year.

Being a tested and trusted politician, who has delivered in previous assignments given to him by members of his constituency, Rt. Hon Tola Banjo is seeking the support of his people as he strive to bring to them quality and qualitative representation from the green chamber of the National Assembly ( House of Representatives) in the forthcoming general elections.

Hon. Banjo is better equipped to write a new chapter of prosperity and accomplish greater things for his people, ready to inspire confidence in the youths and demonstrate to the world that the people of ijebu-Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency are able to charter a new path of unity and togetherness which will give birth to growth and accelerated development.

Recently in a chat with Nigeria Standard, Hon Tola Banjo posited He posited that, his aspiration is to work towards ensuring that members of his constituency get adequate encouragement to thrive in all their endeavours,build them and support them in realizing their immeasurable potentials.

” I promised to have two offices, one in the National Assembly, Abuja and one in your hearts, Where I will sit and make every single decision having you in my heart, perform my oversight functions with utmost sincerity with you at the center of it all”.

Many attested to his kind gestures on how he has been supporting them on all fronts to facilitate and influence support and youth empowerment schemes.

Despite being a distinguished and refined young personality, he has not reneged on his plans and intentions to selflessly serve her people when the opportunity beckons.

This vibrant and well grounded young politician has since been notching up his potential as a federal legislator to be, and all the major calculations point towards his victory both at the APC party primaries and the general elections.

Accept it or not, TB as fondly called is already on a gliding spree to the Lower House of the National Assembly in Abuja, all things being equal as the message from all and sundry has been “EWE SOOOO, TOLA NI OO”.
