Tola Banjo, the man who holds dear the future of his constituency


It is no more news that a former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo has officially declared his intention to contest for House of Representatives for Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC confirming what has been one of the most anticipated declarations in Ogun state politics since the buildup to the 2023 elections started.
Why should the people of Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East vote Tola Banjo to represent them at the green chamber ?
Tola Banjo, a consummate, compassionate and vibrant politician no doubt has the pedigree, knowledge, political structure and the required Skill-set to propel the constituency to greatness if given the chance, he is loved and adore by all and he has over time described his ambition as one that is not built on “mere promises to do” but one that guarantees the continuity and expansion of an already established track-record of performance.
Called by his people to serve, Hon.Tola Idris Banjo considers the call on him to be a show of love but also proof that the people of Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East local government areas prioritize human and capital development of their areas.
His Tola Banjo the right Man for the task ahead ?
Over the years, Tola Banjo Stayed consistent with his belief that infrastructural development is a major driver of economic growth, his contribution to the growth sustainable development of his people whole representing them at the state assembly between the year 2011 to 2015 and subsequently as the special adviser to the immediate past governor, Ibikunle Amosun has been well documented and cannot be overemphasized, so are his efforts towards youth and women development amongst other laudable programs.
Is he better equipped than all other contenders ?
Despite being out of office, he has never ignored the need to directly impact the microeconomic needs of his people and that is why he continued to commit personal resources to ensuring that he constantly support youths, market women, artisans and trade associations with grants, work tools and soft loans to boost their careers and businesses.
It is now important that the people of Ijebu-Ode Odogbolu and Ijebu North East trust him again with their mandate so that their constitutional authority will better enable all to do more for the development of the people.
