Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Eid Break, Resumes Official Duties

He departed Lagos on Wednesday evening from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, marking the end of his stay in the commercial capital after observing the festive period.
Prior to his return, the President had visited the United Kingdom, where he participated in a series of high-level engagements. Upon arriving back in Nigeria, he proceeded to Lagos, where he joined Muslim faithful for the Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks.
During his time in Lagos, Tinubu also held strategic meetings with key political stakeholders, including a large number of state governors. The gathering was seen as a significant moment of consultation and alignment within the political landscape.
His return to Abuja signals a continuation of governance and official responsibilities at the nation’s capital following the holiday and diplomatic activities.
