In a bold move to promote religious harmony and peaceful coexistence, Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi, the senatorial aspirant for Ogun Central Senatorial District, is set to host a special Unity Lent & Ramadan Talk at Oriomi Sokori, Abeokuta.
The interfaith gathering will bring together Christians and Muslims during the sacred seasons of Lent and Ramadan—two significant periods marked by fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and spiritual reflection. The initiative is aimed at strengthening unity, fostering mutual understanding, and reinforcing the shared values that bind the people of Ogun Central together.
Delivering keynote messages at the event are Pastor Oluyori of Covenant Church and respected Islamic scholar, FADILAT SHEIKH AL KHALEEFA ABDUL QODRI ISHOLA OLORUNSEYE (popularly known as Siiru Samodany). Both speakers are expected to address the importance of faith in promoting peace, tolerance, and national development.
