The General Overseer of the Divine Universal Church Of Christ International, Itedo Ayo, Oke Berger-Idi Mango, Abeokuta, Rev. Dr. Olayiwola Mercy has said that Special Anti-Robbery Squad should be reformed not to be banned.
He urged Nigerians to stop calling for end of SARS but should rather protest against Insecurity.
The general overseer disclosed this in an interview on Tuesday with newsmen in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
He said, ”Though it may be too late but this is my stand. I think it is good to protest for good reformation than to end SARS.
”Bad egg is at every where in every system, like journalism, pastoral, even entertainment is 75% evil, only few of them proclaim cultural value.Well, government is wiser than us, they will re launch it with another name.Let’s all protest against insecurity and prayer for peace.
He commended president Buhari for banning SARS, urging him to fight against Insecurity.
”It is commendable, kudos to the presidency for that but they should do all possible best to bring an end to insecurity”
