A Real Estate Developer and surveyor, Mr. Fashina Olajide has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to review the land tenure policy system in Nigeria.
Fashina, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Olageospatial Global Investment Company (OGIC), maintained that the current policy system is outdated.
The CEO of OGIC disclosed this in an exclusive interview with NigeriaStandandard news over the weekend.
He also advised President Buhari to review all the power of land investment with the governors of the 36 States.
He said, ”I want to advise president Muhamadu Buhari to review land tenure policy system, the current system practise is outdated, there is need for a reform in land system in the country.
”Our President should also look at other stakeholders, concerning lands, like community land, family, he has to look respect the rights of the people and the cultural heritage of the people, i think the president need to carry everybody along, some people because of political reasons deny some of their rights and cultural heritage, the president needs to reform the land policy system”, he concluded.
Fashina, a reputable estate developer, specialises in the sales of land, building of residential homes and office complexes, among others, was inducted into the club alongside 65 others.
