President Tinubu Flags Off ₦215 Billion Road Projects in Osun to Boost Infrastructure and Economic Growth
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially flagged off road projects worth ₦215 billion in Osun State, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to expanding critical infrastructure and accelerating economic development across Nigeria.
The road projects are expected to improve transportation, ease the movement of people and goods, enhance regional connectivity, and stimulate commercial activities within Osun State and neighbouring regions. The initiative forms part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises strategic investments in infrastructure as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, President Tinubu said the projects would create employment opportunities, reduce travel time, improve road safety, and support agricultural and industrial productivity. He stressed that quality road infrastructure remains essential to attracting investment, promoting trade, and improving the living standards of Nigerians.
The President also assured residents that the projects would be executed according to approved specifications and completed within the stipulated timelines, urging contractors to maintain high construction standards while ensuring value for public funds.
The Osun road projects are among several ongoing federal infrastructure initiatives aimed at modernising Nigeria’s transport network, strengthening economic integration, and fostering inclusive national development under the current administration.
