PBAT sends El-Rufai’s Replacement, 2 Other Ministerial Nominees to Senate For Confirmation
President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the names of three ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
The nominees are Jamila Bio, Balarabe Abbas and Olawale Olawande.
Balarabe Abbas was nominated by the President to replace a former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir -El-Rufai.

Recall that the Senate in August this year did not confirm El-Rufai as Minister, as the Upper chamber confirmed 45 out of the 48 ministerial nominees forwarded by President Tinubu.
The letter conveying the names of the three ministerial nominees was read during Tuesday’s plenary by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
